Murielle Vanhove
As a teenager, Murielle Vanhove watched people come and go in her parents' Parisian brasserie. In the rush, anonymous people jostle and pass each other, a crazy rhythm that fascinates her.
During her studies at Penninghen, she received comprehensive instruction in painting, drawing and photography which led her to artistic direction in advertising agencies.
Ten years of creation and meetings. Very quickly, she felt the need to reconnect with the gesture, the material.
Murielle then began painting.
People mixed with bright colors appear and disappear under a light, strong touch of paint.
Murielle paints the movement of all these people we meet, of our lives in fast motion. She moves forward like her characters, part of a world that is constantly evolving.
Winks and dress codes, imprints of our society.
